Case

Sometimes dreams only happen once in a lifetime.

In 2001 I was invited by a lower mainland crew to visit this secret spot that they had created. It was in the second floor of a barn. We walked through mud to get to it and uncovered the bird poo tarps to unveil the most amazing ramp I have ever experienced.

For your own secret ramp contact Project Skateboards, it’s their specialty.

I spent the summers of 2001 and 2002 in paradise. On the east coast of Vancouver Island at Camp Qwanoes, outside the town of Crofton. I slept in cabins with no power or heat hung out with 300+ kids each week and an amazing staff of 150+.

I also got to hang out at a skatepark originally built by Legendary Paul Anderson from Portland, Oregon (with Project Skateboards) He also Built the Department of Skateboarding (RIP) and runs Skatechurch.

This last summer the camp went all in and had New Line build a concrete park, thats commitment to skateboarding in Canada!
